Sherry K. Mutterer

Sherry K. Mutterer, age 73, of Hillpoint, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2020. She was born on October 11, 1946, in Reedsburg, Wisconsin, the daughter of Gustav E. and Evelyn A. (Pfaff) Monskey. On April 16, 1966, Sherry was united in marriage to Donald E. Mutterer at St. John Lutheran Church in Hillpoint, WI. This marriage was blessed with two children. Sherry and Donald were owner/operators at the Villa Inn in Hillpoint for 31 years.  Sherry enjoyed gardening, bird watching, Badger and Packer games, and most of all being a devoted fan to her five grandchildren’s sports teams over the years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Donald on January 2, 2018; brother, Larry Monskey; sister,  Shirley (Joseph) Kast; nephew, Timothy Kast; brothers-in-law, Richard and David Mutterer.

Sherry is survived by her children Michelle (Brian) Johnson of Waunakee, WI, and son Michael (Nancy) Mutterer of Lemont, Illinois; grandchildren Brianna Johnson (fiance’, Tyler Thibo), Trevor Johnson,  Brayden Johnson (Kallie Ziegler), and Evan and Emersyn Mutterer; sister-in-law Bette Monskey; brother-in-law, Robert (Carol) Mutterer; nieces and nephews, Debbie (Noel) Richert-Foley, Mark (Jan) Kast, Kimberly (Kris) Weber, Melody (Richard) Gulseth; and special family dogs, Copper and Conway.

A private family service for Sherry Mutterer will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 30, 2020, at St. John Lutheran Church in Hillpoint with Pastor Daniel Lewig officiating. The service will be live streamed through St. John’s Hillpoint Facebook page.  Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery. A public visitation will be on Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Farber Funeral Home in Reedsburg.  For those unable to attend visitation, please contact Farber Funeral Home for special arrangements on Saturday morning.
