Sheryl Ann Woetzel

Sheryl Ann Woetzel, age 65, of Reedsburg, WI, passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at Casa de Oakes. She was born on December 27, 1957 in Bloomington, MN, the daughter of Eugene and Phyllis (Berglund) Dahlstrom. On July 29, 1979, she was united in marriage to Jerome Woetzel. This marriage was blessed with a son, Michael.

Sheryl graduated from the University of Minnesota with a business degree. She worked several clerical jobs until she got a job in a bank in Morris, MN which she had many different roles.

One of her favorite things was being able to be a homemaker until her son was old enough to go to school. She had a passion for singing, she sang in choirs throughout her life. She was on the worship team and led worship at Hosana Worship Center for many years. She enjoyed being physically active, working out, and being with friends and family. Most of all her love for Jesus and wanting others to know His love, a true passion for the lost. 

She was preceded in death by her parents Eugene and Phyllis Dahlstrom.

Sheryl is survived by her husband, Jerome; son Michael (Tami) Woetzel; grandchildren Gunnar, Jeremy and Ivion; sisters Susan (Duane) Bartels, Jill (Jon) Fredrickson, and Judy (Jon) Paquette; nieces, nephews, along with other family and friends.

Funeral services for Sheryl will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Monday, May 1, 2023 at the Farber Funeral Home in Reedsburg with Tom Fangmeier, Pastor of Hosanna Worship Center in Morris, MN officiating. Visitation will also be on Monday from 10 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Reedsburg.
