Terry Lee Hooker, age 56, of LaValle, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 4, 2024, following a motor vehicle accident.  He was born on April 20, 1967, in Reedsburg, WI, the son of LeRoy and Judie (Smith) Hooker.  His father, LeRoy preceded him in death on December 4, 1982. 

Terry was a 1985 graduate of Webb High School in Reedsburg.  He owned and operated his own business, Hooker Enterprises.  He later became employed with Primex in Reedsburg.  Terry enjoyed hunting, fishing and attending snowmobile races and tractor pulls.

He was also preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Harold (Clara) Smith, paternal grandmother, Elva Hooker; God Father, Bill Smith; uncles, Larry Hooker, Harold (Jackie) Smith, Ken Smith, Jerry Smith, Irvin Smith; aunts Joyce Hooker, Betty Erickson, Marcella Long; God Mother, Yvonne Fosdick.

Terry is survived by his mother and step-father, Judie and Rick Ellett of Minocqua; children, Max Hooker of Wisconsin Dells, Odin Hooker of Wisconsin Dells and Luke Hooker of Appleton; girlfriend, Lisa LaRue of Ironton; aunt, Avis DeMars Roessler of Baraboo; many cousins along with other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Terry L. Hooker will be conducted at 12:00 noon on Thursday, February 8, 2024, at the Farber Funeral Home, Reedsburg, with Chaplain Mike Amberg officiating.   Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.  Memorials in memory of Terry preferred in lieu of flowers.
