Thomas Allen Dyar, age 60, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2026 following a recent diagnosis of Stage 4 (metastatic) pancreatic cancer, in Los Angeles, California. He was born to Larry and Barbara Dyar, on October 22, 1965, in Coon Rapids, Minnesota.
Tom was a kindred spirit and loving soul. He dearly loved his wife, daughters and family. Throughout his life, he was also always surrounded by his animals. Tom had a smile that could turn any frown upside-down. In his youth, he was an avid hunter and motorcyclist. Tom could fix anything and loved working on his house. He enjoyed spending time on his property outside of Reedsburg.
Tom was united in marriage with Leslie Turner on November 19, 1998. They enjoyed paranormal investigation, and that same year they founded Sauk County Paranormal. Tom also enjoyed decades of employment, alongside his loving soulmate Leslie, at Seneca Foods (Baraboo). In 2018, Leslie died of pancreatic cancer. They spent 20 wonderful years together.
Tom was preceded in death by his wife Leslie R. (Turner) Dyar; parents Barbara A. (Pliner) and Larry L. Dyar; grandparents Richard and Edith Dyar, Marvin and Lucy Pliner; special pets Chichi, Snickers and Peanut.
Tom is survived by his daughters Brittany L. (Gustave) Robertson, Courtney L. Dyar (Dillion Meer); stepdaughters April Geibl, Ashley Geibl; grandchildren MicalaRose, Grace, Otto, Lydia, and (Baby) due August 2026.
He is further survived by his siblings Deborah Dyar, Lori (Brian) Nelson, and James Dyar; nieces Stephanie Quick, Suzanna Dyar; nephew Zachary Dyar; along with other family and friends.
Tom will be greatly missed and forever loved.
A Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date. Memorials may be made to Tom’s family.
