Tonya Mae (Cole) Podoll, 46, of Baraboo, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 21, 2024. Tonya was born on December 20, 1977 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Tonya spent several glorious years running the streets of the city until in third grade her permanent childhood home would be in rural south central Wisconsin. Tonya was a proud graduate of Weston High School, and would later serve as a CNA at various elderly care facilities, including Sauk County Health Care Center.

Tonya was passionate and caring for those around her, and wanted others’ needs met before her own. It was sometimes this care and compassion for others that made her forget to take care of herself. Tonya endured many struggles in her short life, but she lived the way she wanted, and lived by her rule of Infinity, no limits, without bounds, eternal and endless. Tonya was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Bob and Lorna Hart.

She is survived by her husband, Rick Podoll of Reedsburg; parents Darrell Deitrich and Karen Bennett, Loganville; her siblings, Selena (Ted) Peasall, Reedsburg, Art (Chris) Bennett, Lime Ridge, and Mike (Hailey) Bennett, Reedsburg; children, Dravin Wilson, Loganville, Mason and Olivia Podoll, Reedsburg, and a child close to her heart, Ryan, Portage; and a special friend, Tom, Baraboo; four nephews, three nieces, and many other relatives and friends.

A memorial service for Tonya will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Friday, October 25, 2024 at the Farber Funeral Home in Reedsburg with Chaplain Mike Amberg officiating. Visitation will be on Friday from 4:00 P.M. until the time of the service.
