Veronica A. King, age 85 of Madison, WI, passed away on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison. She was born on March 6, 1940 in Reedsburg, WI, the daughter of Frank and Ruth (Casey) Coleman. She was married to Edward William King. He preceded her in death on September 24, 1968. Veronica was employed as a secretary in the Department of Plant Pathology at UW-Madison.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward; and sister, Mary Coleman.

Veronica is survived by her son, Steve of Madison.

Funeral services for Veronica will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at the Farber Funeral Home in Reedsburg with Chaplain Daniel Farber officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
