Wayne Edward Connors, age 78, of Reedsburg, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on June 4, 2026.

Born on April 19, 1948, in Wonewoc, Wisconsin. Wayne lived a life marked by kindness, dedication, and love for his family and friends. He was known for his warm smile, generous spirit, and ability to make those around him feel welcome.

Wayne worked as a buttermaker for over twenty years and took great pride in his work.  Outside of his career, he enjoyed fishing, camping, crocheting, and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Connors, son, Shawn (Marie) Connors, daughter, Sheila (Craig) Wuerzberger, grandchildren Braeden & Gavin Connors, Jenna & Natalie Wuerzberger, and brother, Tim (Vickie) Connors. He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph & Ruby (Hamburg) Connors, his brother Victor Connors, and his sister Joanne (Connors) Towne.

Those who knew Wayne will remember his sense of humor, his wisdom, and the love he shared so freely. His presence enriched the lives of many, and his memory will continue on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Memorial services are scheduled for Thursday, June 11, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church in Reedsburg. Reverend Steven Neyhart will officiate. Visitation will also be held Thursday at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church in Reedsburg from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. Burial will take place at St. Paul's Cemetery in Wonewoc.
