William C. Brown, age 90, of Reedsburg, WI, passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2022. He was born on April 19, 1932 in Bloom City, WI, the son of George and Minnie Bell (Ochletree) Brown. Bill proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. On April 9, 1953, he was united in marriage to Olivia Fern Elsbernd in Crosby, North Dakota. This marriage was blessed with six children.

Bill worked for many years at Wisconsin Dairies in Reedsburg, and Ho-Chunk Casino in Lake Delton. He was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Lime Ridge.  Bill enjoyed fishing, playing cards, and feeding the geese in the park.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife Olivia; his eldest son James Brown; daughter-in-law Patricia Brown; and his great-granddaughter Wren Haser.

Bill is survived by four daughters and one son: Laura Kast (Jerry) of Bear Valley, Lynn Mattei (Monte) of Wisconsin Dells, Margaret McCluskey (Shane) of Lime Ridge, Sandra McGowan (Eddie) of Jacksonville, FL, Charles Brown (Jennifer) of Brookfield; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and lifelong friends, Kenny and Beverly Duren, who loved him very much.

Private family graveside services with military rites for William will be held at the Calvary Cemetery in Ironton
