Wilma Ennis Obituary

Wilma E. Ennis, age 92 of Reedsburg, WI, passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2023 at the Reedsburg Area Medical Center. She was born on March 4, 1931 in Lime Ridge, the daughter of Walter and Louise (Krueger) Gudenschwager. On May 23, 1953 she was united in marriage to Donald George Ennis. This marriage was blessed with three children.

Wilma lived a full life and was really active. She worked at Ray-O-Vac in Wonewoc for over 20 years, and when she retired, she worked at Lands’ End. She loved her family, enjoyed reading, having lunch with the girls, and Friday night fish fries at Marty’s. She loved politics, and President Trump, and was an ardent Pro-Life supporter. Always a Packer fan, she liked keeping track of the scores of their games, and other possible contenders for the Super Bowl. She watched all the division games, and was an avid life fan of Michael Jordan. She must have read over 100,000 books, ask Dana. Wilma was very active with her sister, Lois Hinze, her grandkids and great-grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Donald on March 10, 2018, her sister Jeanette Manville, and brother Norman Gudenschwager.

Wilma is survived by her son, Donald Kevin (Debra) Ennis of Wisconsin Rapids and son, Brandon; daughter, Kathleen (David) Gonzalez of Loganville, and their eight children:  Nicole (Leonard) Abbs, and their son Victor; Portia Gonzalez; Carolina Lipscomb; David (Sierra) Gonzalez and their children, Aunica, Koda and Scarlett; Michael (Janessa) Gonzalez and their sons, Lincoln and Liam; Jacob Gonzalez, Maria (Raymond) Budnik, and Joshua (Ashley) Gonzalez; daughter, Linda (Chuck) Denman of Cazenovia, and their children:  Amber Selje and Lani, Lakyn and Ryker; Jessica (John Paul) Thompson and their children:  Reegan, Trenna, Kersey, Breckyn and Oaklin; Karla (Jay) Tindell and her children: Samantha, Noah and Emma; brother, Lloyd Gudenschwager from Missouri, and her sister, Lois Hinze of Reedsburg.
